1. Short version
PeopleKeeper is built and operated by Above AS.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
The information you add to PeopleKeeper stays on your device. If you use iCloud, your data may also be stored in your private iCloud account. We cannot access that data.

3. What data PeopleKeeper stores
PeopleKeeper lets you save information about people in your life, such as:
- names
- birthdays
- notes
- tags
- similar details you choose to add
This information is stored locally on your device.
If iCloud is enabled, your data may also sync through Apple’s CloudKit service and be stored in your private iCloud account.
We do not own, operate, or access the servers where your iCloud data is stored.
4. What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, account details, or login information.
PeopleKeeper does not have user accounts.
We also do not use:
- analytics
- telemetry
- advertising trackers
- advertising identifiers
- third-party profiling tools
- crash reporting SDKs
We do not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera unless you give permission for a specific app feature.
When permission is given, the related data stays on your device unless Apple’s iCloud sync stores it in your private iCloud account.
5. Notifications
PeopleKeeper may send local notifications, such as birthday reminders.
These notifications are created and delivered by iOS on your device.
They are not sent through our servers, and we do not know when, or if, they are shown.
6. iCloud sync
If you use iCloud, PeopleKeeper may sync your data between your Apple devices using Apple’s CloudKit.
In that case:
- your data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to that storage
- we cannot read, export, restore, or delete that data for you
- you can manage iCloud settings in iOS Settings
7. Children
PeopleKeeper is not made for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights and control
Because we do not store your personal data on our own servers, you control most of your data directly in the app.
You can:
- edit entries in PeopleKeeper
- delete entries in PeopleKeeper
- delete the app to remove locally stored data from your device
- manage iCloud data through your Apple/iCloud settings
If you live in the EU/EEA, the UK, or another area with privacy laws such as GDPR, you may have additional rights.
You can contact us at ivan@aboveapps.no if you have questions about your rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. For important changes, we may also notify you in the app.
By continuing to use PeopleKeeper after changes are made, you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
