1. Agreement

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the PeopleKeeper app and any related websites or services, together called the “Service”.

The Service is provided by Above AS (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using PeopleKeeper, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About PeopleKeeper

PeopleKeeper is a personal app that helps you remember details about the people in your life.

The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your content

The information you add to PeopleKeeper is yours. This may include names, notes, tags, birthdays, and similar details.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for the information you choose to store in the app. This includes making sure you are allowed to record and store information about other people under applicable laws.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PeopleKeeper to:

  • break any law or regulation
  • harass, threaten, dox, or harm another person
  • interfere with the security or performance of the app or Service
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, unless this is allowed by law

5. App Store terms

PeopleKeeper is distributed through Apple’s App Store.

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms and Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Apple is not responsible for PeopleKeeper or its content, and Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.

6. Privacy

Your privacy matters.

Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how PeopleKeeper handles data.

7. Intellectual property

PeopleKeeper, including its design, code, artwork, name, and logo, belongs to Above AS and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms.

8. Updates and changes

We may update the app, change features, or remove parts of the Service at any time.

We may also update these Terms. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. By continuing to use PeopleKeeper after changes are made, you accept the updated Terms.

9. No warranties

PeopleKeeper is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee that the app will always work perfectly, be available at all times, or be free from errors.

PeopleKeeper is a memory aid. It is not a substitute for human relationships or professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Above AS is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using PeopleKeeper at any time by deleting the app.

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you break these Terms or use the Service in a way that may harm us, the Service, or other people.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway.

Any dispute related to these Terms or the Service shall be handled by the competent courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you other rights.
